    I've been seeing a lot about the "language of chickens". Watched a couple of videos of people who use the 'language' with their flocks. Anybody else doing this? Any good videos to watch/learn from? Seems logical. I tried this a little bit today and they looked at me like I was insane...

    My girls are 11 weeks old tomorrow. I put oyster shell in their feed and they pick it out and throw it on the ground. So clearly don't need it right now. This article was great and highly educational. Thank you for this great info!

    I'll try the scrambled eggs. They love apples, so if I have a small dish of apple sauce, that might work too. There is no way for me to get them at waist level. The area is fine for four hens but at the moment all ground level. I'll try to build something plus they need 'activities' anyway...
