    Update for everyone: definitely a rooster. I ended up purchasing a pullet and wow the difference. So Rosita has now become Ricky. He’s staying for now because the crowing is to a minimum at this point. And he seems like he will be a good protector of the ladies. Lord knows my Silkie rooster...

    I haven’t found an egg yet but maybe there is one hidden. Everything else about this darn bird screams lady. Ahhh.

    I thought they looked pointy too in the picture but actually looking at the bird they are more rounded and no saddle feathers coming down. I got her on 4/19/25 and assume she was a week old 2 weeks tops. So she is anywhere from 11-12 weeks old I assume.
