Is this scaly leg mites? I’m new 😬

Thanks for all of the info. I will look at NuStock. I’ve been on here for about an hour (and Google) looking at pictures of scale mites on legs. It looks like either dry legs or possibly very beginning of mites? I think first I’ll try bringing her in to wash off and dry her feet and see if...

Is this scaly leg mites? I’m new 😬

Hi everyone - new chicken keeper here. Our gals are 8 months old and coming into their first winter up here in Canada. When I was out changing the water this morning, I noticed our CCL legs look a bit thicker than the other hens. They were always thicker but this seems even more thicker than...

Does this look like a cream legbar egg?

We have a few girls coming into lay right now. I’m expecting our olive egger and our CCL to lay within the next 3-6 weeks. I checked both girls to see the width of their pelvic bones and the CCL, even though she is a month younger seems to have spread further apart… 2.5 fingers versus the 1.5...

    Calcium Pills

So I have one Pullet who is constantly laying soft shelled eggs. She is a new layer so I know it may take a bit of time but all of our other layers have perfectly fine, hard shelled eggs and lay regularly. They get layer feed and baked shells separately available. This is the only Pullet with...
