    They are domestic mallard ducks. It is possible that I got the date wrong as to when she started sitting. She only gets off her nest twice a day and it's for a very short amount of time. Should I get her off of it to do the candling? When I candle how do I tell if the ducks are alive?

    Hi! I am new to easing ducks and I have a female sitting on 15 eggs. She has been sitting on them for 30 days now since she laid her last egg. I am concerned because I read that it should oh take 21-28 days for the eggs to hatch. What should I do? Any advice?

    Yes we have 3 females and 1 male. I have noticed that he has been tying to mate with them so that's probably what happened. I cannot think of any reason for her injury.

    She is full grown so we don't give her Brewers yeast anymore. I am thinking she may have triped or hurt herself getting into her pool. It's a regular kiddy pool so they have to climb up to get into it. This all happened very suddenly. She was fine this morning then this afternoon she had this limp.
