    Will frozen eggs hatch?

    It can't hurt to try but it might not work if I was you I'd wait till it gets warmer outside, if they completely froze and cracked open I'd say breakfast.

    So I dropped 4 eggs in the coop and the hens got to them before I could now they won't stop eating eggs! What can I do to stop this they've eaten eggs before and stopped on their own this all just happened an hour ago so will they forget by tomorrow?

    Maybe the rooster thinks you're a predator and makes a warning noise to the hens like what they do when they see hawks

    Whatever you use except cedar will be fine I use straw because they like it better to scratch but at a point you have to remember their chickens and their livestock they don't need anything fancy my aunt has raised chickens for nearly 20 year and uses no bedding and cleans out her coop once a year
