Hen losing feathers and has hunched back

Would egg bound be the lack of feathers or the hunch? We have noticed the hunch since she was days old, and she is over a year old now. She does not seem to be stressed, eating and drinking properly, social with the rest of the flock.

Hen losing feathers and has hunched back

We have a hen that since a day old has always had a sort of hunched back, she has never had any issues but now she is starting to drop feathers and skin looks raw. Wondering if anyone knows what is wrong with her hunched back and what is happening with her feathers.

Thank you for your help! Could we maybe build another small coop and run for each rooster and let them out in the yard together sometimes?

When can we play with them!!!

Thanks for all your thoughts. We have left the chicks alone with mom as she seems to be very protective and doing a great job caring for them herself. We are definitely enjoying watching them grow and adventure around.
