    What gender are these Welsummers?

    Thanks everyone. That's what I was thinking. We had ordered a Welsummer rooster and a hen. I just wanted to make sure before we accepted a rooster from a friend. Goldfinches, I just have to ask. What about our yard scares you?

    Sick, listless chicken

    I have no idea when the last time she laid an egg was. Besides isolating the chicken, how do you figure that out? There isn't an egg stuck now though. We have never wormed our girls. Wouldn't we see worms in the poo?
