    Hello fellow BYCers! Can you give me your expert opinions? I bought 6 Australorp chicks back on Feb. 27th. The hatchery supposedly seed then and they were females. I think one is not. Here are a couple pics. Can she just be a fast developer?

    Does anyone have a pvc feeder like this?

    Sorry I don't have any better pics than this one attached. My feeder is behind the pullets. I took an empty 5 gal. wheat bucket, drilled 1 inch holes all around, attached a $4 new oil black plastic drip pan from AutoZone, and hung it. I had to create the "roof" to keep the hens from roosting...

    She hatched May 1, so 13 weeks this Wednesday. No eggs yet. Do they start around 18 weeks? The others I have are gold sex-links, and I've been told they start around 18 weeks. They too have the same birthdate (approximately)
