Hoping that this is a pullet (darker than examples of cockerels shown) but the pink wattle at this early age is scaring me. Anyone have a guess? Edit: crap that picture doesn't look dark at all. 7 weeks old.

Buried under those concrete blocks are....more concrete blocks! I went down 6" to be safe. Still not as good as an apron. I have tons of foxes too. :(

Hi All, I just moved my 4 week old chicks into their coop where they'll drink from a traditional hanging waterer for the next few days. The issue is that they've been drinking from nothing but a poultry nipple for their entire lives to this point. In a few days when I let them into the run...
