    They seem to love it. Not attached to wire. Three handcrafted wooden brackets attached to the brick wall at back then plank attached. Rounded corners. Final decision is if I put rubber on the roost as I had before. Meant to help with their feet.

    OK interesting. You've got two roosts, how many chooks have you got. I went with the philosophy that they would all want to be together but maybe they would prefer a number of options. Thanks for input.

    That's fair comment. I realise I'm hindsight that the break in the ladder makes it a bit difficult for manoeuvring... But it's what I had to hand and seemed to work for the original 8.     Thanks. We were prescribed clavaseptin. We could separate the chook because I guess it is contagious but I'd be worried that the additional stress would take her over the edge.
