I guess I won't know male or female till the 3 am crows.These tails throw me .They were all the same now 2 are different and these 2 have fuzzy heads and necks now lol
Today is their first day outside.They will be coming back in soon.

Excuse Cicis hair .I let her go out with her hubby for some sunshine and she decided to play in the red dirt! I THUNK I have 2 cockerels and 1 pullet.I see one huge tail on one grey only they all had pretty fluffy tails but the 1 grey now seems to have the largest now. Is anyone good at telling if silkie chicks are male or female ? Dad ia a frizzle mom is a splash.

When is the earliest time I can take my chicks away from their mom and put her back in her kennel and coop? I brought them in because they almost died when it was so cold .But she is making it impossible to keep them cozy.She sits on them but she always is fussy and makes such a mess 10 times per day.They would be so much easier without her in the house sadly.And I can keep them warm .they are almost 2 weeks old.

I am totally confused by the color of my new baby silk.I am already seeing changes in the 2 black and gray they are now more white and light light gray now the wings are very white.Now the solid white totaly confuses me no black what so ever and it appears yellow.Mom & dad are both white and black.Babies below.

So excited & shocked.My silkie Cici has been hiding eggs .We thought we had collected them all . Now I have collected 3 baby silkies.I can't wait to see how they turn out.Mom is a paint silk dad is a paint frizzle. I guess it's name time ,I waited because I didn't think 2 would make it.Everyone is doing great!
