this turkey was more or less a rescue. was told she was a she and that she sometimes laid eggs was a year old. have had her for 3 months , now she has been strutting showing her tail feathers, is she a he? i am enclosing pictures

can anyone tell me why my 5\6 week old baby turkeys have such rough looking feathers? i feed them 30% protien game chick starter. v they are kept in a 2 x 3 x 18 in tall brooder at 80 degrees. they seem ok other wise runnng around and play scratching at the bottom of cage. should i be worried?

My 1 yr old rose breasted hen suddenly had a bad limp and is digging at bottom of left foot. as you know its very hard to hold a turkey that does not wish to be held.
