    I'm surprised that there's no limit in Austin! (I just looked it up.) Even before I came to Central Texas, there was a limit to the number of hens in my city.

    Let me guess. You're not within city limits! :p In addition to heat tolerance, I also need to check on how noisy they are. The next-door neighbors have chickens and they have one REALLY loud hen. Thank you for sharing! I was able to cut my list down to about 20!:clap
