    thanks roxann, my wife and i make a great carpentry team . we stole the design from" my midlife crisis coop" i have to give him all the credit.

    well i can at least have her watch me hold the chicks without her attacking them. we love our boxers and can see my life without them, so i guess i will just work with them till she gets it. ohhh boy, fun fun

    My boxer tries very hard to eat the chicks, how do i get her to accept these chicks as non-food. I'm a little worried if she gets one she will like it. that will be bad

    im a little confused as to why you would hatch your chicks when it is (or seems to be) more cost effective to buy day old chicks. anybody??

    just another newbie

    im here to learn from the experienced ppl . i will ask too many questions im sure. my wife and i are excited about having chickens and hope you all are willing to teach us some basic care. we are in connecticut and built our coop with a pic from this very site, thank you all in advance.
