    I'd stab myself in the eye repeatedly before I'd ever consider buying an Akita. I even told my husband if I ever utter the words 'We should get an akita' he is to promptly douse me in kerosene and light me on fire. Just sayin'...

    Definitely pullets. Of my 4 pullets I had two light, two darker- they look just like yours.

    Black Jersey Giants have yellow feet, Australorps have pink-white.

    TSC random chicks, ideas?

    Top two are red sexlink pullets. Bottom 4 could ALL be Silver-laced Wyandottes. I have 2 SLWs that look more like your bottom two.

    Chick #4 would be either a Silver Laced or Columbian Wyandotte- it has a rose comb.

    I believe the naked neck gene is dominant, but I can assure you that is not a purebred Turken. I have two, and they have single combs and bright yellow legs.

    What the heck am I?

    I got her from Meyer... they have several types of Marans (Including blues, splash, black coppers, golden cuckoos) so I'm guessing it's entirely possible that I got a blue copper. Thanks.
