    Hi everyone from Western KY

    Hi to everyone from Dave in W. Ky. I got 7 1yr. old hens, 5 felines and one just had 6 kittens. I love to garden and work with my hands quite a bit doing whatever I can get ahold of from automobiles to woodwork. Right now I'm splitting cedar for fence posts.

    Rebecca thanks for answering, I feed my hens layer crumbles 16%, and have free choice grit and oyster shell available also. Congratulations on your Rooster!

    Hey everybody this is wildback40 new to the forum raising chickens for a year. Had a hen lay this morning and the shell looked like and felt like latex. Anybody know what could cause that?
