    Yeah I thought that would be a good idea but not sure the rest of my household would be OK with it as we have lots of chickens all ready. But who knows maybe I'll be able to persuade them! 🙂

    Thank you so much for the advice 😄! I think some herbs are supposed to smell strong for chickens and so I will try things like that to help guide him around. And I am probably more of a newbie than you and so I'm very glad you've made these suggestions.

    Unfortunately no, we didn't have enough room to put him near his old coop and also he was very stressed when he was anywhere near the other cockerel who was repeatedly trying to attack him through the fence. Thanks for the idea
