Hello everyone. I purchased a bag of flock party dried crickets to supplement my Rhode Island Red pullets' diets with some protein when they were about a month old. Initially, they went crazy for them. They loved these treats. Now my chicks they are 3 and a half months old and refuse to eat...
Yea probably. They eat it when I grind it up for them in my coffee grinder. I give it to them as a snack anyways. 90% of their diet rn is Purina chick starter/grower. I will switch to a layer feed once they are 18 weeks old or once they lay their first egg.

Hello everyone! I joined yesterday and posted a question about sterilizing coops and got a bunch of replies! A lot of friendly and helpful people on this site! If you have the time check out my YouTube channel, it is called Wild Primal. I've attached the link to one of my YouTube videos. Please...
Ok thanks, I will try to integrate them while they are young. And I've attached some photos of my coop as well. Check out my YouTube channel to see how my chickens are doing too if you have the time. It is called Wild Primal. Here is a link to one of my videos:
So it is not effective at all? Is it effective against getting rid of parasites like fleas mites and ticks at least? I heard how good DE is from the YouTube channel Becky's Homestead.
Ok I will do that! I'll place the tractor near the chicken run for a few weeks before fully introducing them with no barriers. I'll keep a good eye on them to see if they are getting along or not
