I have a question? Would it be possible to add nipples to a heated bucket or heated muck bucket? I have both from my horses, and wondered if it would be an option for the winter? (Bonus, cuz I already have them sitting around)

I had my entire flock killed by coons two nights ago! They broke into my shut coop(coons can open latches!), and killed 12 hens, and my roo. I put out a live trap, and golden marlin mixed with coke last night. The trap got one, and the marlin got a huge coon, and two possoms! One of the coons...

I transfered the little ailing baby back to the bator. He just wasn't keeping warm enough in the brooder. I think, by how he's acting, if he makes it to morning it will surprising. But at least now, he's warm and comfortable, sleeping on a pillow of paper towel. The little guy...
