Well Mr. Rooster came up missing so don't have that problem now. But I googled trimming spurs on a rooster and got several youtube videos. Pretty interesting but easy to do. Check in out on google or youtube.
Did you get an answer on trimming spurs? I have the same question. I have a 3 year old with 3 inch long spurs. They seem to get tangled up with his feet some times.
