    He's a golden comet. He's rock solid! Gorgeous bird. and no we haven't gotten on a scale with him. It's just the Hubby's guess. Though next time we need to put stuff on his feet for the mites I'll bring the scale out with us :D

    Oh excellent!!! I wonder if it'd hurt though? I imagine garlic in a cut would be painful? I'm not sure if every raised scale=open wound?

    Oh, I'm not sure. How do I tell if he's anemic? He's a huge rooster, my husband is guessing 20 lbs. his feathers look very nice and healthy. He has good color everywhere except the damaged scales from the mites.
