    The proper humidity for lockdown is 65%, for hatching it should be 45-50%. That is what works in my experience.

    No worries, the hens with black spots are just low on the pecking order. I am pretty sure it is dried blood. You may want to separate the hens from the rest of the flock until the spots heal. Chickens pick at blood.

    Have you considered Orpingtons? In my opinion they are the best! The hens are calm, good egg layers, and in my experience, quiet.
