perhaps my wife has unplugged it , she didn't want any ducks :lau
I have a small cheap incubator perhaps that's why , my daughter will be gutted if she knew they wont make it. I might have to go and buy some ducklings somewhere and tell her they hatched during the night :hmm
well I checked with a different thermometer it was correct , however I used a pharmacy old one and it was too low and I thought that was broken .out of 4 eggs 3 are like that 1 seems to be ok . don't know really
yes they were shipped but everything was going well until last week when I noticed that , many times I candled them and they looked ok, plenty of movements still today on day 21 .
Hand turned 3 or 4 times a day , on top of that incubator will turn them as well ,put them in 4th so day 20 today , or 19 for some depends how you count it .. It looks like they are growing only on the half of the egg , no idea what that white part is ???
Day 20 of incubating duck eggs and everything seems to be fine when candling in the fat side of the egg, the other side is showing white only ???
3 pictures below from same egg , first and last one from the fat side , the one in the middle from the other side ??
Hi .. I am new here and would love some advice on hatching eggs using incubator that requires eggs to sit upright .. Decided to hatch some ducks after request from my daughter so I went ahead and bought the first incubator I found on eBay however later if found out that i can't turn eggs ...
