    Kermit's shadow : If you have a trustworthy one around at the right time, I'd go with that 100%. But no incubator ever stomped on any eggs or ripped the head or legs off any chick........... I haven't ran into that yet. Got 3 mommas that r really good and r always wanting to be mommas lol...

    i just painted my floor. as long as you keep it covered with wood chips and change it often you will not have a problem.. check out my chicken fortress...:-) also make sure you get some de... to spred on the chips at least once a week... it will dry up the poop. to keep it from rotting...

    put a piece of carpet on the bottom... then use shreded paper for the nest...i have been using this for a couple weeks now.. i ran out of hay.. so i decided to try something different...been working fine.. also you can bag your own grass when you cut it and dry it out...:-) only draw back with...
