    dairymen have to walk a very tightrope w/o a net.been there an done that.would still be milking if i could get good help.an my body would hold up todoing the outside work.

    close your hen an human door at nite.or else varmitts will get in an kill your chickens.a friend of mine lost 8 pullets to possums.an he finally set a trapp an caught a possum or 2 an killed them.

    you really need 2 cows.because cows are herd animals.an they stay calmer with their own kind.now i dont know that id put her with the horses.because horses have a tendency to chase cows.

    Should layer feed be 16%, 18% or 21% - really what does it matter?

    i just feed layer feed i dont look at the protine.i think the feed i was feeding was 18%.but i havent bought layer feed in 2 or 3yrs.

    reg papers dont mean squat to alot of people.but now if you have some1 wanting a show goat.you may need to have reg stock.but i really dont know.

    you can cull them at 16 to 18 wks old.as said you can eat banty roos.but prolly not much meat on emm.

    personally id turn the red heat light off.being that old they can take the cold.

    your coop needs tobe a minum of 16 by 16.an your run could be 16 by 80.an youll have enough room for your chickens.
