Hey I'm new to byc. I'm from Suffolk, UK . I have 5 Rhode island reds n 1 is broody so I brought her 6 Eggs 3 light sussex 3 black Orpington. The 3 lights have hatch on Tuesday the 2 Orpingtons haven't. We had 3 Orpingtons but one has completely vanished we are thinking either a rat got it or...

I have a Springer spaniel n I have to have two gated areas to keep him away from they as he would have them.in a second. Maybe put another fence around the pen. Game dogs n chickens don't really mix well.

I have a broody hen so I got her some Fertilized eggs 3 hatched on Tuesday which r light sussex's and we have 3 black Orpingtons which haven't hatched yet. Should they of hatched by now? How long shall I leave them before determining tht they r dead?
