    There is a feed store that can be seen from Hwy 22, East of Costco by about 1-mile. There is also a Wilco in Stayton which is 17 miles east of Salem on Hwy 22. Closest choice probably depends where in Salem you live.

    Heritage Breed Feed Consumption for 1 day through laying?

    I recently raised 5 chicks from 1-day old until the first one laid the first egg, and used 125 lbs of chick starter. It was 19 or 20 weeks.

    I bought BOSS to plant this season. I found it from Southern Exposure Seed Exchange. I couldn't post link, but it'll be easy to find with a Google search. This source is reputable. The seeds ARE very hard to find.
