    We just found our 6wk old buff with a severely cracked beak... tried cleaning it with peroxide and water mix, would like to glue a tea bag on it to help mend it but was wondering if it would be better to let it alone? Any help would be appreciated thanks btw she doesn't seem to be in any pain...

    Hi, our 1 year old austrulorp mix went broody. We let her lay on 5 fake eggs. Today was day 19 and we put 6 chicks under her, not at the same time, about an hour or two apart. Four Buff Orpingtons and two white crested black polish... she seems to accept them all no problem then later today...

    Lays for 5 hrs then leaves??

    Yay, she's Broodie!! She has been laying on 7 hopefully fertile eggs for 3 days with only 1/2 hour a day for her bath and feeding. We offer her water through out the day which she takes but won't take the food we offer. We are so excited over here \0/ yay!!

    Cloudy eye only in the evening?

    It has been 2 plus weeks and her eye remains the same... Clear in the morning but towards the evening it gets cloudy. We tried giving her Baytril for 5 days no change. We also tried ivermectin because I read we're some one gave that to their chicken who had the same symptoms, still no change...

    She is also very snappy when on the nest, she actually growls... But mid afternoon she leaves the nest and doesn't return till the next day to lay and it starts all over again
