What’s happening to some of my eggs?

That’s the adjective I needed...mottled. I couldn’t get that link to show me a full page so o will search it separately and see. I am in South Georgia so it is humid, but I started seeing this back during our winter. Thank you so much.

What’s happening to some of my eggs?

Several, different breeds, of my eggs have started looking like they are spotted in some way. If you can zoom in on the picture, let me know what is going on.

12 Araucana Hatching Eggs - NPIP CA

Hello all. I am sure I was confused at some point in the past to be on that thread. I received an email message in reference to one of the above posts about selling eggs. I have been so busy that I haven't even been on BYC website in over a year. When posting in the past, it was a general...

We have a brinsea incubator and it doesn't leave much room for them to stand once they start moving well so as ours each got fluffy, we took them and shell remains out. Their new location was toasty and ready first. We've only hatched three sets of 15 and have a set on lockdown starting tomorrow...

How does broody raised chick drink?

We have used the incubator for our previous hatches, but we had a hen who went broody so we put five eggs under her and expect something December 11th. She is nesting in the coop about four feet off the floor. I guess I'll learn from trial and error, but I don't want the babies to fall out and...

Extremely graphic.. Do not view then complain.. Predator reality

Raccoon. Get a trap of your choice set. It WILL be back and will eat until the plate is clean or you take it out first. Our experience with 24 ducks and 58 chickens has been that an opossum will leave wings, head, and feet. A raccoon got seven hens and one rooster before we finally found a...

EMERGENCY - Duckling is gagging and in distress!

I know you are so relieved. It's no fun feeling helpless. I love this website because it keeps you from feeling that way. It's nice to know we all can learn from the experiences of others. Respiratory infection...didn't even cross my mind for one so small. Hope it's going to be just fine.
