    That’s the adjective I needed...mottled. I couldn’t get that link to show me a full page so o will search it separately and see. I am in South Georgia so it is humid, but I started seeing this back during our winter. Thank you so much.

    All newcomers to this love of poultry should read. Great article with lots of wonderful points. The most frequent point I have heard SO many people say is that they believe that a rooster is necessary to have eggs.

    EMERGENCY - Duckling is gagging and in distress!
