Thanks everyone for your thoughts. I'm having trouble getting her to eat or drink - she'll eat mealworms if they're right under her nose, but won't drink any water. She's barely moving in the crate at all (I'm sure she's sore) and her only poop that I've seen was green and watery. Here's what...
I found out that you are in fact, correct. The younger pullet is laying those different types of eggs - I had no idea. She's only about 5 months old, so I didn't think it was her...but I found her on the nest yesterday and shortly thereafter, a beautiful little egg was laid.

Hi everyone...I just received my 10 week old pullets and everything is going well, except for the dog introduction. :( For information - I have 3 buffs and I keep them in an enclosed, secure coop and two attached, secure runs. They have a lot of room and they seem fairly happy and are growing...
Thank you so much everyone...my attached run is secure, and my smaller enclosure as well. The bigger one is only covered by deer fencing (because I made it pretty large) so I'm only going to let them out in that one when I'm home and watching. Thanks again!
Hi there! First time soon to be chicken owner here, and I was hoping to get some ideas about what to do when they come home. I have 3 buff pullets on order, I'm just waiting for them to turn 9 weeks before they come home. I have a coop that I bought from Tractor Supply with an attached run...
