I know to tell the male pekin ducks apart from the females is the curl they have on their tail feathers. I used to have two males but one passed due to an unknown reason. I believe someone scared them to the point that my duck had a heart attack maybe...I just know that someone has been trying...

My ducks were actually late bloomers and just started a couple weeks ago laying eggs. Also my male just started mating and one of my females noticed a week later about this and mounts my smallest female. My ducks are about to be 9 months

I own three pekin ducks, one male and two females. One of my females is acting like a male by mounting my female duck trying to mate with her. Is this normal? The female that is acting like a male loves to be the boss and I don't know if she's trying to take the male's place

I'm getting two baby turkeys to raise for our local rodeo for the FFA kids. I would like to know if they eat the same as chickens or is their feed different? I'm new to this poultry thing since I just own ducks and chickens, if you could give me advice on turkeys that would be great!

I own two female pekin ducks and I'd like to know if the egg on the left is a duck egg or a chicken egg? The egg on the right is one of my Leghorn's egg just to compare. Also sorry that it's a little dirty. I heard that it's best to clean them off when you're going to eat or give the eggs away.

Yes I do but it's a really tiny run. I've seen people have posted runs here that are bigger and spaceous. I was going to buy material to make a new coop and run, but I noticed that I have an unused dog kennel in the back that we built 3 years ago. I might convert it into a run for them, and...

So yesterday I did some testing and I added their waterer to the side where there was no water. I found out the reason there's a lot of water on the ground is because of their waterer. My guess is that the ducks and roosters spill the water :/

Hello! By any chance anyone has a blueprint to make a PVC run for my chicken coop. I'd like the chickens and ducks to run around without getting chased by my two puppies. Thanks for helping! :)

Oh wow that's a good idea! I have the ducks waterer inside their coop, and I've never thought of doing that. I might have to build that in the chicken and duck coops. Yes, I found a board of plywood in my shed :) I found at least two of them. I'm debating if I should build a new coop for them...
