I'm in the U.S (North carolina) We do have some wasps and bees around the area but i haven't seen them in a while. It's possible he ran into one or something.
Thank you though! Im definitely gonna check out that link and look for some treatment options.
I was feeding today and found our last turkey with a swollen wattle and the top of head swollen. I haven't given anything to him and he seems to act normal, he does have a bit of a slower pace but nothing too out of the ordinary.
I tried massaging it to see what it felt like and it was full of...
Yesterday my hen hatched some chicks and their chicks are pretty high off the ground so we were going to take them from her and move them but I don't know when or how long until I can take them from her, we've got some heat lamps and other things ready.
I just went to check on him, it's possible he did. Ill give him some protein but so far he's doing okay, he wasn't with the female and was laying down resting. He's eating and walked slowly to the food.
I woke up today to find 1 of my turkeys laying on their back in some mud, i looked for any wounds since at the time were dealing with strays coming in but I didn't find any. Is he sick, tired or something else. He waddled off a bit wobbly after i got him up.
