Hello! My chicken, Koala, had a droopy eye too. She had also been sneezing a lot. We took her to the vet and the vet said it was a bacterial infection and that she had knots in the back of her throat. We got medicine and she is better now! Here is a photo of when her eye was droopy.
Hey! Quick little update. It didn’t get better so we took them to the vet and they are doing better now! The vet said it was a bacterial infection, and gave us medicine to do for every 12 hours. No more sneezing! Yay! Meep sadly died before we got to the vet, but Koala and Mochi are a lot better!
Yeah, I do not see any lesions. Her boogers smell pretty bad, so I would think it’s Coryza, but I don’t know for sure. Thank you so much for your help!
No, there are no lesions. Yeah, I don’t know! She doesn’t have any bubbles now, but just the bad smell. My guess would be Coryza, but we will take Meep to see a vet soon. I am saving up money to take them. Thank you!
Thank you! Yeah, my chick Meep has bubbles in one of her eyes. I’ve seen it in Koala, but there are no more bubbles. My chicken Meep has really bad smelling boogers, so that might be it. She seems to be having trouble breathing as well. She is the only one whose nose clogs up.
Hm… it’s hard to see but when our chickens (not ducks) hatched, they pooped green like a newborn baby would do. I looked it up, and it’s normal. If baby ducks poop green, then that might be it! 😄
