Has anybody had experience with California hatchery ? They have a minimum order of 5 turkeys, which is all I need. Craigslist is bare of turkeys. I am specifically looking for eastern wilds. I am aware they require a permit. Just looking for a hatchery that has a small minimum order. Thanks!

Okay, lets see if these are good. I got a few head shots of obvious hens, and their feathers.

Individual pictures of all of them, probably won't happen... I can't tell them apart to tell who I got photos of and who I didn't... The only time I can't catch them is at night when they're roosting. The problem with a cellphone camera is, its 22mp but once I zoom or crop, I lose ALOT of the...

I can't attempt to get better photos. Maybe not as good as you, I only have a 22mp cellphone camera. Do you want better headshots? And I can try to get their feathers up close.

My thing is, I don't want them all. I had to order the minimum of 15. I sold a pair of royal palms already, they're very obvious though when it comes to sexing. I'd like to get rid of all but a trio of the reds. Which is why I'd like to get it figured out.

Uhhhgggg. 2 of them are super obvious. The rest, don't have a snood barely... But they have the extra skin on their neck.

This is my first time with turkeys, I have 9 bourbon reds and a pair of royal palms. I *think* I have 2 maybe 3 male BRs and the rest are females... Not the best of photos, but can anyone please help and tell me what they think?[/IMG]

I knew they have no feathers, but my royal palms just have pink heads. The bourbons have pink, but then this gray on them. Good to know its normal though.

I was watching my bourbon red turkeys, they're approximately 2 and a half months old, I noticed they have Greg skin on their heads along their feather line... Is this truly their skin? Or is it from their feathers falling of? Not the best of photos, hope they work!
