Thank you for the response, yeah I'm not too hopeful that it will make any difference but I have some white vinegar on hand so I'm going to try it. They're so small and sweet looking but they can be so nasty to each other! I've only kept chickens before and they were nowhere near this bad. -

The vet gave us antibiotics and metacam, he couldn't feel a break and so he thought it was likely an infection. She's so angry, I've brought her inside, if I walk past she lunges at me and pecks my hands when I top up food and water. She's normally super friendly but she hates me now... lol -

Hello, My quail was looking quiet yesterday but I'm pretty sure she was walking without any issues. Today she was limping and so I picked her up and checked her over. The leg she limps on is very swollen and red where the tibia is. There's a puncture mark too. Is this likely an infection... -

Just an update, not quite 'eyebrows' but close! This is Pecan. ..and Pingu! Still unsure of their genders but no crowing as of yet... Friday (in the back) the male Tibetan tuxedo and Twiggy the Egyptian hen. -

Oh that's interesting and good to hear! I'm really hoping for hens... I bought the eggs from ebay, the listing showed one scarlet tux adult and it looked more like the whiter chick. Your hen is really lovely, I like the subtle white eyebrows. :) -

Thank you! The one with more colour is developing white feathers under his beak, I wonder if he/she will have white eyebrows too.. I'm hoping they're girls! 🙏 -
