Will you be breeding to sell? Do ya'll have to be NPIP certified to ship up there? I am just a curious person

I might sell some...but I'm the competitive type (breeding for show). Nope, we don't need no certifications to ship up here, only to import. No need to worry, I love questions...no matter if the answer is obvious LOL

Thanks! I love the idea of breeding, but I just can't right now, so I love hearing about other people doing it, especially younger people
(like me, too) that aren't always expected to be entrepreneurs!

Lol. I know, it is sort a high pressure to breed extremely rare birds at my age!!! I have Blue Andalusian from the only line of perfect show quality Blue Andalusian in North America!!! Talk about high stress! Why can't you breed chickens?

I'm not allowed to have a rooster (major problem in breeding

), and I don't have the time to invest in a quality breeding flock. I would love, love, love to breed Sumatras, Brahmas and Call ducks in the (distant) future! I have a Brahma right now and she is amazing.

I actually don't live in a neighborhood, but my parents don't want me to have a rooster. However, one of our "pullets" turned out to be a rooster, and so I had one for about 1 year! He was great, but some dogs killed him (and 4+ hens at other times) :C

I can't really blame the dogs or anything though, cause they are just doing what dogs are "programmed" to do. At least I still have 4 of my girls!
