Well, I won't say it publicly, but it's just a few minutes from our house. So I can still stay at home! I'm still not sure what major to go for, but I'll probably go with something to do with writing. But I was also seriously considering becoming a veterinarian (which is 8+ years of schooling...).
Are you still wanting to become a vet?

That’s awesome, maybe liberal arts until you know for sure? Yeah, it’s a lot of school, you have to get your bachelors and then go to the actual vet school, all in it comes out to be roughly 12 years of school. As much as I’d like to be a vet I can’t fathom being in school that long and paying as much as it would cost. I may still go in a couple years for vet tech though, since that’s only 1-2 years.

Yeah, that or journalism... I really need to be looking into it more lol.
Yup, sure is a lot of schooling before you actually get to do anything. And it may take awhile before the money starts coming in... I also read that it's competitive (especially for vet techs since it's less complicated). But an avian/exotic vet isn't as competitive. Is avian/exotic what you're thinking of?

That’s really any college level profession, though.
I actually lean more toward the large animal, but I do like avian/exotic, as well.

Which one? I hatched 10 this year from two different batches. Only 7 are still around though, and four of them are roosters!

Well, umm... The last ones you told me about I guess. I think it was like 17 eggs that you got from a friend, and all of them where developing if I remember correctly.

Yeesh, roosters... They cause so much trouble. XD
My 3 new roosters (besides Rudy) are actually doing okay... so far. XD

Well, at least some of them made it! What did you get from the bunch? Isn't it so much better when you can hatch them yourself? It's the best thing ever to see a new life born.

Sorry about responding so late. I'm not on BYC as much these days with so much school work to finish up. How's yours coming along?

Yeah. I got 2 hens whom are super cute! And three cockerels, whom are like a lil gang. Lol

OH NO!!! He attacked your grandmother!?! Naughty Rudy! Luckily my naughty boy calmed down again, must have been a phase.
