Hi. I’m so sorry about your bantam hen, it’s always sad to loose a flock member. They aren’t just livestock they are pets. I have names for all 21 of mine, do you name yours?

Thank you for your kindness,@Butterscotchbitesfinger . Yes, we do. Our bantam Cochin's name was Ruffles. The other two we lost previously were Scoops(the Rooster) and Lays. Yes all named after chips :)

Ruffles flock friends are Sesame and Teriyaki. Sesame is a barred rock and Teriyaki is an Australorp. Ruffles had adopted them as her chicks when we go them to keep her company after she had been rejected by our original flock.

The remaining members of "Flock A" are Calypso, Black Star, Nugget and Crispy, both red sex links. Ruffles had been through a lot, and she being a Cochin was very sweet and friendly. She loved coming in the house and visiting. We are considering getting another Cochin, but a standard size. What kind of chickens do you have?
