    Hi BackYard Chicken members. I'm am trying to figure out a way to close the hinged door on the chicken coop at dusk. I am retired so I am searching for an old-world way of closing the door at night without me going into the covered coop yard.

    The teal-colored coop above was completed using scrape plywood last week before the rain returned. I am trying to design a chicken run. Went back to Lowes, The Home Depot, and Ace Hardware this past week of April 27, 2021. The wood has more than doubled. So, I purchased PVC pipes. Lord willing start on Monday.
