I just read that chickens having purple skin means heart attacks! Is this wrong, am I missenterpreting it, or is Onyx in danger??? (Onyx has lavender skin under her feathers, varying in color a little. She is an AC mix)

Today my dog needed to go to the vet cause we thought he ate a retainer. I was reminded of all the times Esther ate stupid things, and could have died because there is no quality chicken vet care.
