I'm so excited yesterday my little Lacey laid her first egg. So now I have Barbie and Lacey laid their first eggs and six more to go and very excited with this whole situation, they're almost not freeloaders

I can not even say how happy and excited I am! One of my 8 babies just laid her 1st egg. I believe it was Barbie my Salmon Faverolles.i found it this morning in their dust bath box.

Happy Saturday everyone. yesterday we went and got a bunch of stuff from Lowe's and I decided to take a couple of 2x4s and some cinder blocks and make my girls a small little Roost in their little Coop. Then I raked out their coop and a couple hours later my husband gave the girls some fresh grass clippings to go through.

My niece and nephew were at the house the other day they wanted to check out my chickens. My niece was in 4-H for a short time and she learned how to hatch chickens and Wrangle them. My nephew I don't believe he ever touched the live chicken.
