Thanks about the profile pic and avatar. I love Mini Dachshunds as you can see. Henry and my chickens have been good. I've been great. I agree that TwoCrows gives excellent advice to. How are you?

Yeah, it's been pretty cold lately. Today's weather was ok, it was in the upper 50s so not to terribly cold. This cold worries me a little tho because Feathers is in the middle of a molt and her whole neck and chest are bare. :\ I'm hoping she gets her feathers back soon or she might have to go in the garage with a heat lamp for awhile. TwoCrows gave me some excellent advice on upping her protein to help her get her feathers back quicker so I will try that first. How are you today?

Guess what?? One of the BR's laid an egg today!!!!!! I think I know who it is. Possibly Ethel. She was ripping the nest boxes apart this morning. She laid it in the run!!! I am so surprised nobody ate it!! Ha! I am SOOO EGG-cited!!!!
