You have a great fourth too! Yeah, there's five kittens, and they have to be bottle-fed. Not as much work as a puppy, at least they don't have to be potty trained outside. But, yeah, my friend also has Buff Orpingtons, Production Reds, Red Sex-Links, and a lot of pretty Easter Eggers.

Hope you have a great day too! I was just over at my friend's, and she got a Black Australorp, White Cochin, Buff-Laced Polish pair, a Black Minorca, and a Silver-Penciled Wyandotte. I'm so jealous! Also got convinced into helping take care of a litter of abandoned feral kittens we found.

My chicks are huge too, and I ended up with 10 pullets and 10 cockerels, a nice 50/50 split. I went to visit a local breeder last week and came home with 4 naked neck chicks to try (I have no resistance against chicken math, lol). They are so cute, I can't wait to see how they grow out. It certainly has been a good year for berries, our blueberry bushes were loaded!
Earlier I heard my turkey hen making a lot of noise in the day lilly bed next to our driveway. When I went over to see what was wrong, there was a big copper head snake coiled up in the day lillies! I got my brother and he came out and shot it. It was only about 20 feet from our house and where my turkey poults and chicks hang out. That was way to close for comfort!

I'm doing well, and so's the flock. Yup, thats our newest calf, she's a sweet, feisty, little (big) thing, lol. Hows your flock? I bet your chicks are huge now!
