My mom says no because she's so active now we're afraid she'll fall off because she's on the top shelf. I made a brooder for her yesterday and she really likes it!

Can't you take the hen out of her nest? Your might have a lot of problems with the hen/chick. :/

We've already tried and when we do she forgets about being broody.... I have try again though. What kind of problems? Like I said before I'm totally new and I'd like to know everything.

With the hen, because she was broody for so long and lost her only chick. So she might try staying broody for a while again...or not. The chick, because there is only one and chickens are flock animals. You either need more chicks or to put her with the mom. I hope it goes well!

I see. Yes she is still broody. It turns out we have three more eggs for her to hatch! If none of the eggs hatch by Saturday, we'll get her a friend. Thanks!
