These are not lap chickens, but they are friendly and curious. They have to be in the middle of whatever I am doing. I take it back. A couple of mine have become lap chickens.
Good Spitzhaubens can be hard to find in the USA. Most have a lot of Polish in them, but they are out there if you look hard enough.
