Love my two girls...They are just wonderful. Easy to tame and very friendly, both of mine are easy to pick up and like people. They lay on average an egg a day for the most part sometimes every other day. I do live in Michigan and do not keep lights on them so some of my egg production is due to less light during the day. They are pretty big birds and that has to be taken into count if you are planning on have just a smaller coup for them. I keep mine in a chicken tractor and have just the two girls. My chicken tractor plans said that it could hold up to six hens with this breed I think four would be pushing it...Great breed for extra large eggs and easy keeping!
