A great beginner breed! The chicken hiding under the other is not a Barred Rock.

I agree! They are so sweet and love their people! Aren't afraid to wander far in their free-ranging. My girls also lay pretty much every day to every other day. And love to play mother while waiting to lay their egg lol.
