I love this little Gadget! There is no escaping light. I can look at the eggs perfectly! It has removable rubber "tips" Which you put on when you candle. One with a large hole for big eggs, and one with a small hole for quail eggs. It is very bright! Really happy with it!

This is a great candler if you are only planning to hatch a few eggs. It is very cheap and handy. It is only 250 lumens, so it doesn't provide too much detail, but it will effectively show veins and air cells. One plus is it comes with an attachment for quail or bantam eggs, which has come in handy. Overall, I am pleased with it, but I wouldn't mind paying a little more for higher lumens.

After a year of use it went flaky and stopped working. I'm not sure what happened, but hey, for the price it wasn't half bad.
