I bought a pack of three for my flock of 11. They are high quality and stay relatively clean, however, my birds are scared of them. I thought maybe they would "grow" out of it, but they have not.
Pros: Fun toy, chicks love it even when empty, great price, interactive way to work for treats.
Cons: It does screw together but the good news is you don't have to take apart to stuff. Just slip greens through the sides.
I love this peck n play ball. It provided hours of fun for my baby chicks while in the brooder. It slows down the digestive process by eating more slowly and provides great exercise. My baby chicks did not peck at each other and they still love the ball as adult hens which is now hanging from a string in their run. I do recommend bringing it in for a wash now n then and you do not have to unscrew the product to wash or stuff.
