I have a forced air Farm Innovators with a turner and have had good luck with it. Temp. is steady with very little drift. I have not noticed the turner motor being too hot.
Update. Incubator lost temp again and eggs are for sure a loss, but I called GQF and they are sending me a new temp control module. Customer service is world class. Had new part in route to me the same day and a promise to make it right no matter what it takes. Love GQF.
Yep, another incubating addict here. 2 doz Americauna and 2 doz BPR in the bators now and plan to have them running all summer. It's so much fun. I guess if you have to have an addiction, it's a good one to have. Happy hatching!
I have just purchased a Genesis 1588 digital. Worked great for about four days then checked on it one morning and set temp changed from 100 degrees to 69 degrees, just two days prior to hatching. Has anyone experienced this before? I reset it to 100 degrees and it seems to be fine, the eggs on...
You can clip any birds wings that you don't want to fly. Clipping the flight feathers only prevents them from flying long distances, just remember to clip one side only.
